Regular or Deep Cleaning? Choose the Work Your Home Needs
A home can need a tidy-up without needing a deep clean. It can also look tidy while old grease and bathroom deposits need more attention. Choose by the work you want done, not just the lowest package price.

Start with a short problem list
Write down the areas you want cleaned: dusty floors, sticky kitchen fronts, bathroom deposits or an empty home before moving in. Name the result that matters most. 'Clean my 2 BHK' does not tell a professional whether you need routine upkeep or detailed work.
Cleaning removes dirt within the selected scope and helps maintain a usable home. It is not a promise to prevent illness, remove every allergen or restore damaged surfaces. If a specific health concern is driving the booking, discuss suitable products and methods rather than relying on a general 'sanitised' claim.
What regular home cleaning is for
TaskTigers' basic home-cleaning scope is for maintained, occupied homes. It uses customer-provided cleaning materials and equipment. Check the listed routine tasks before booking and keep those supplies ready.
Deep stain removal, old grease, heavy hard-water deposits, appliance interiors and upholstery shampooing are outside that routine scope. Booking more time or a larger BHK does not automatically add those treatments.
Why a deep clean has a different price
A deeper clean involves a different scope and level of work, not simply a more expensive name. Compare the surfaces, scrubbing, materials, tools and access included in the selected service. A furnished home also needs work planned around belongings; an empty property is a different booking.
TaskTigers apartment options use the selected BHK. Independent-house options use an area band. A large duplex should not be compared with a standard apartment package only by bedroom count.
The cupboards and sofa need a separate check
Do not assume a deep clean includes emptying wardrobes, cleaning every appliance inside or shampooing the sofa. Check those items explicitly. Move-in/move-out cleaning has its own scope for an empty or nearly empty home; it is not interchangeable with occupied-home cleaning.
Send photos of severe stains, paint, cement or unusual buildup before confirming. Agree on additional work and charges before it starts. A worn finish, damaged grout or permanent mark may need repair rather than more cleaning.
Choose the smallest scope that solves the problem
If the rest of the home is maintained, a bathroom, kitchen or single-room service may fit better than a full-home deep clean. If most rooms need detailed work, compare a home package with the same set of individual services.
Before the visit, clear the agreed areas, put away valuables and confirm what supplies and access are needed. At completion, check the original problem list with the professional.
Questions customers ask
Why are two home-cleaning packages priced differently?
Compare scope, property type, size, materials and equipment rather than the title alone. Routine upkeep and detailed scrubbing involve different work.
Does deep cleaning include every stain?
No. Severe buildup and permanent or damaged surfaces need assessment. Check exclusions and agree on any separately quoted treatment.
Can I book only the bathroom or living room?
TaskTigers has room-wise and area-specific options. Check the selected service for your address and choose the scope you actually need.
