What is included
- Labour for the selected option and quantity
- Opening and refitting the accessible existing board where applicable
- Tightening of accessible connections within the selected point
- Basic power and safety test after completion
What is not included
- Switches, sockets, plates, boxes, wires and replacement parts
- Concealed box work, new circuit or wiring beyond the selected point
- Wall cutting, plastering, painting or tile work
- Burnt wiring or damage extending beyond the selected board
Before the visit
- Keep the selected points accessible and remove fragile items nearby.
- Have compatible customer-supplied parts ready, or approve parts after inspection.
- Book fault diagnosis instead if there is burning, repeated tripping or an unknown fault.
Common questions
Does the displayed price include parts and materials?
No. The displayed price covers only the selected labour scope. Any wire, switch, socket, fitting, MCB, fixture or spare part is purchased only after you approve its brand, rating, quantity and price.
What if the work is larger than the option I selected?
The electrician will stop, explain the additional scope and ask for your approval before continuing. Concealed faults, extra units, new circuits, wall cutting and unsafe work are not added automatically.
How many switches or sockets does the price cover?
Only the quantity stated in the selected option. Additional points require another option or an approved quotation.
Is a new electrical point included?
No. These options use an existing accessible point or prepared surface box. New wiring and concealed work are separate.
